A ★★★½ review of Scream 7 (2026)
Being that this is the first movie in the franchise to be released in IMAX, I thought what the heck let's give it a go. The sound is amazing watching Scream 7 in IMAX, but despite this the film still seems very much like the others in the franchise and despite some good gory scenes that may make some people jump there wasn't that much new. Although I have to say that some of the comedic one-liners added some humour to the film, it just felt a little tired.

Another great visit to #Cineworld Llandudno the other night for the Secret Screening of #SendHelp.
The film is out in UK cinemas on the 5th of February, Send Help is well worth seeing on the big screen, and I highly recommend you check it out, especially if you're a fan of #samraimi and enjoy the musical delights from Danny Elfman's work.

Was off seeing A Nightmare On Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's revenge at Cineworld tonight. Haven't seen it since the late 80's.
I don't think it works at all as an Elm Street film. It certainly isn't scary.
But had it been about a different character and not Freddy, I think it might have worked much better.
