In OpenShot Video Editor 3.5, the redesigned timeline introduces a cleaner layout. Each track now features two new icons that make it easier to quickly manage track visibility and locking, giving editors faster control over what clips can be seen or edited directly from the timeline.
OpenShot 3.5 now uses the newer timeline as the default editing experience, and it is one of the most noticeable improvements in the release. Zooming, scrolling, dragging, trimming, and scrubbing feel much smoother, especially on larger projects. The new timeline is simply more responsive and more enjoyable to work with day to day. Alongside it, the keyframe panel is now enabled by default, making advanced animation and property editing much easier to discover and use.
OpenShot 3.5 has been released. It features a new, improved default timeline designed for faster, smoother editing with better zooming, scrolling, and snapping performance. It includes a new keyframe panel for easier animation, refined multi-clip editing for large projects, and increased overall app speed by up to 35%.
