I like how I went into this project going "Yeah! This is gonna be a nice short video, no longer then 8 minutes in total,", and the voice over (now edited) is nearly 11 minutes EXCLUDING the intro and conclusion segments!
I have appeared to under-estimated the scope of this project! 
Feel an anomaly. Kdenlive on fedora as rpm or flatpak package are newer than on flathub.
Stale version on flathub usually because packager are 3rd party or from community. But this kdenlive flatpak on packager flathub has verified to be the owner of kdenlive.

Sorry for the short middle missing section - I was bummed this part didn't record! But I wanted to post one with different audio so not all of them have the same track :p Though the audio track is still at an early stage
For the audio, I originally came up with this tune while tinkering around on the keyboard. I later composed it in LMMS. The version here is that early composition where I noted it down - this is from a while back, and I'd compose it differently now. It's more like an audio sketch than an audio track.
I also tried playing it on guitar a few days ago for the first time! That gave me even more ideas for how I'd add to the LMMS composition. Ah, when I have time! Or maybe I'll also try recording the guitar version at some point.
I want to do all the things!

#kdenlive Linux users: do you get actual 60 fps playback in the timeline?
i have hardware acceleration enabled via VAAPI (Intel GPU), my project is set to 60fps, and i have tried original, transcoded-to-edit-friendly-format, as well as proxy clips. the fps overlay always says 60, but the playback is visibly more like 30.
not a hardware issue, since Davinci Resolve Studio does 60fps without the system breaking a sweat

Gibt es bei Kdenlive keine Möglichkeit einzelne Sequenzen dauerhaft für die nächsten Videos zur Verfügung zu stellen? Zum Beispiel eine Bin, von der man überall Zugriff hat.
Oder einen gemeinsamen Ordner, der immer permanent innerhalb von Kdenlive angezeigt wird.
Da wäre sehr hilfreich.
I praised Kdenlive too much yesterday it seems because then I ended up trying to get that one plugin to work for 2-3 hours 😭
Es gibt über Kdenlive gutes zu berichten. Ich habe mich die letzten Tage, so wie es meine Zeit zugelassen hat, mit Kdenlive beschäftigt und kann dadurch vieles besser verstehen. Ich setzte Kdenlive ab sofort als mein Videoschnittprogramm Nr. 1 unter Linux ein.
Den versprochenen Blogbeitrag werde ich in den nächsten Tagen verfassen.
Ein Video wird es auch geben, wenn ich OBS vernünftig zum laufen bekomme... alles benötigt seine Zeit - ist ja alles Linux-neu :)
