I was lucky enough to attend on a talkback night when the cast and writer came out afterwards, and it was wonderful to hear their perspectives on aspects of the play.

I saw #OneOfTheGoodOnes last night at the #PasadenaPlayhouse . A friend had seen it over the weekend, and when she told me that #LanaParrilla was in it, that got my attention since I've been a fan of hers since "24" and a little known show called "Windfall". It's only been in the last few years that I got to see her terrific work in #OnceUponATime .

It was an absolutely wonderful play, centered around a Latine family exploring their cultural identities and perceptions. /1

My husband was telling me about a recent business trip, and mentioned getting to the hotel much later than expected. Why? A work colleague's flight was delayed, and he decided to wait at the airport and travel into the city with her.

When I asked why, he said, "I know how you would have felt about taking an Uber or public transport that late at night in a strange city."

@dwf there's definitely a lot less enthusiasm (among us white/ cis/het/ males) when it comes to acknowledging our own actions, making it our genuine priority to stop causing/ participating in causing harm, and to really work on repairing painful impact we've caused! Speaking for myself of course.
