A ★★★★ review of Off Ramp (2023)

I saw this recommendation on TikTok and having been a part of the Juggalo Family for 20+ years, I just had to check it out. For what this film is, it’s incredible! The acting is absolutely underwhelming, but the film itself is very much worth watching. There’s only a small element of horror and very little gore, but both are definitely present. Quite a nice little indie film!

Bad news folks. The cops have caught Comrade #Pig, who has been heroically disrupting fossil-fueled traffic over by the Te Atatū #Offramp for a few weeks.

At least that staunch porcine ecowarrior was not mown down by a steel death machine in the line of duty. May they go to a good and loving vegan socialist home where their service to the planet will be rewarded with a long and pleasant life.

For nearly two weeks a roaming piggy who shut down Auckland's state highway 16 has evaded capture. In the end, it was the temptation of a banana that lured him into a trap yesterday afternoon. The little pig is now at the Henderson animal shelter and if he's not claimed Auckland Council will look to rehome him.
