Where did I mentioned any "hidden agenda"?
Tbh, I don't even care if you have one. I was just commenting on your misguided overconplicated framework.

You tried to argue that actual digital sovereignty is impractical with a reduction to absurdum "in a pure paper based society".

Such a comparison is wrong on so many levels, and so obviously wrong, that it doesn't seem in good faith.

Also, the whole #OCT construction seems designed to blend the very concept digital sovereignty so that it doesn't exclude it's opposite, allowing digital #colonialism from #USA #BigTech to endure.

Obviously you might intend something completely different, but if the outcome of your resoning is compatible with any #BigTech to keep accessing data not generated in the #USA, it's in steer contraddiction with #DigitalSovereignty.

Unless, obviously, the whole world is just a US colony, as #Trump might in fact argue.

OCT – My Framework for Digital Sovereignty, Part 1

Over the past few months, I thought a lot about #DigitalSovereignty. I talked to experts, from analysts over legal experts to people running companies and public authorities. I tried to distill what is really at the core of the principle.

Went to #opticians last week for eye test and checkup, was slightly cursing myself for driving short distance but it was cold and pissing down with rain. Had to fight cursed #UI of parking machine to get my pay and display ticket (took several tries, but I refuse to download yet another app)

Thankfully my distant #eyesight is no worse than 2 years ago (although my #presbyopia has increased slightly to +1,50) - managed to unearth a #vuln in an #OCT scanner as I am very nearsighted - the level of this overflowed the software, optician had to use a different one!

Was shown all the pictures of the inside of my eye/optic nerve etc, all was good there (considering my age and near sight)

Got some #ramen from one of the Asian shops but didn't hang around long in town due to #weather (brr!)

TWO great projects queue up.
1. Bot detection - uses the same technique as in node (lists) to give requests a score and a filter to block access to endpoints.
2. Alttext local generator. A Nuget package which uses state of the art Image LLMs to generate useful alttext automatically (with just an api call alttexrService.AltTextFor(image)
and OCR (text from images).

'Unlicens' d OF COURSE. And with articles and docs.

Filling in gaps where I've found cool things on other platforms (python / Javascript) and thought 'hey .net could do with that'.
