Hey #OSNTForAll #OSINT #infosec you might have heard about Maltego, but, do you know what are the advantages of using Maltego and how effective it is?

Maltego is an extremely powerful tool when used right. It provides you infrastructural & personal reconnaissance options.

- Infrastructural recon is handy where you could acquire domain, DNS, MX, zone transfer and IP mapping info;you could do that with few clicks and it saves time.

- Personal option is quite handy as it kinda gathers emails, phone numbers(if you are lucky), social media profiles and its connections etc.

- It uses seed servers by sending client data(XML) over htttps. After processing the requested results are returned to Maltego client.

- Further it gathers public domain information using search engines, if done manually it kills your time.

- It also gives you an option of case file, which is cool. It helps you in determining relationships between actors or organizations and you could plot the relationship graphically.

- It does the all things that an SOC tool would do and it's graphical visualization makes your job easy.
