@asjo I've been seeing the same pattern for months: #OpenAI's crawlers are slurping anything they can lay their clammy hands on, no matter what /robots.txt? is saying.

So now I regularly grab the IP addresses from the JSON blobs mentions on https://platform.openai.com/docs/bots/ and add them to my #iptables.

Considering I first looked into implementing OAI-PMH at museum-digital in what must have been 2015 or 2016, this really has been a long time coming.

The praise the Städel Museum deserves for their positive example cannot be overstated. The idea to use JSON in the resumption token is wonderfully simple, but reduces the pain of implementing and hosting OAI-PMH so much.

Interoperability has been one of the focal issues around museum-digital practically since its inception. Offering different, simple ways to bring data into the system was a necessary requirement to even think of what we do. There is no link to the metadate on the object page, so you have to go to "About the digital collection" (https://sammlung.staedelmuseum.de/en) -> "Learn more" (https://sammlung.staedelmuseum.de/en/concept) -> "Go to OAI interface" (https://sammlung.staedelmuseum.de/en/oai) -> pass a (fakish) registration form (they just log the provided data, no credentials needed) -> now you find a very decent introduction into the OAI interface (https://sammlung.staedelmuseum.de/de/oai/guide). Part of the Permalink is part of the oai URI (1/2)

D’autant qu’il y a une sérialisation JSONLD ainsi que dans le format de syndication Atom.
