Earlier this year I brought my #Apple #eMate to a #RepairCafe to disassemble, inspect, and [hopefully preemptively] address the common hinge issue. All looked good, so I brought it to a second session to disassemble, lubricate, and reinforce the hinges.
Due to schedule conflicts, I haven't attended the last few, so it's still in pieces. I need to source cells to rebuild the battery, plus order the memory expansion and another USB serial adapter.
Today's #NewtonTalk #GNUM was motivating!
