Think Divergent - Apps on Google Play

Body doubling, Alliances, Blueprints and more. For creatives. By creatives.

As a socety, we need to prioritise creating safe and supportive spaces for neurodivergent children, and especially at home.

Having their own space at home, if possible can make a world of difference for their well-being.

This could be a corner of a room, somewhere they can call their own, even just temporarily.

This gives them the opportunity to feel secure and in control of their environment. It can also serve as a place of refuge and a source of comfort.

It can provide opportunities for sensory regulation and can minimise distractions, helping them to focus and function at their best.

Inertia can be a big problem for many of us neurodivergent folk.

What are your successful strategies to help overcome this, when you need to get tasks done?

@wellbeingEyears I like #NeuroDistinct too :) I frequently see people misusing #neurodiverse instead of #neurodivergent - and it just doesn't make grammatical or factual sense
