I've watched the latest video from #NetworkChuck, as the notion of almost quitting because of “AI” made me take the bait.
But under it kind of went as expected. Privileged white, cis, het, dudebro in STEM going on how “«AI» is here to stay”, so we need to learn it to then fix it slop. But earlier on how those jobs are disappearing because of “AI”, with no awareness that “AI” doesn't manage staff.

“Classic” techoptimism with systemic blindness.

#NetworkChuck says he loves #Windows (cringe) and immediately copies a critical for his blog workflow executable to an obscure path, so he may easier forget where that executable is and to update it.

(FYI: The ability to keep your software updated is a critical feature of an operating system. Windows doesn't care about this feature for userspace software, except it's own store.)
