Flavien rencontre le kiwi austral

Enfin, ces deux se croisent, au détour d'un chemin. Depuis plusieurs jours, le kiwi austral se laisse entendre. Mais il ne se laisse pas approcher aussi facilement. Au total, Flavien parcourt quatre-vingts kilomètres pour une seule et unique rencontre.

Alors qu'il allait rebrousser chemin, un bruit déchire le silence assourdissant. Mais au vu de l'heure, la marche se fait à tâtons, au flair. Un jeu de piste, pour que le Graal se dévoile enfin. L'un est tétanisé par une telle rencontre, l'autre hésite un instant avant de vaquer à ses occupations : se nourrir. Flavien, après avoir savouré la chance d'une telle rencontre, s'en retourne le cœur léger. Le kiwi, toujours affamé, part à la chasse aux larves d'insectes, vers, et autres petits invertébrés.
