Did the immigration official have a way of verifying your answer that you're on the NRC list? If not sounds like a bogus check.

@archismita As has happened to so many, so many. So the final #NRClist is out. Even though many are still contesting their exclusion from the list, seems like the govt. has already taken a decision on them. #PSA if your name isn’t in the NRC, please please don’t go through immigration. (n/n)

@IndiasMuslims As if they haven't learnt well after the #NRCList fiasco..Well, now we have something else to look forward to, that is the #CitizenshipAmendmentBill. Correct me if I'm wrong :I
