Time for #3goodthings
1. Had to call #NHS 111 last night the woman I spoke to was the most reassuring person, I really appreciated her and am going to spend some time today finding out how I can leave that wonderful woman a compliment in the hope she gets a bonus or something.
2. Spent most of the day under blankets eating cheese and watching things like #Privateeye year in review. Highly recommend that to all.
3. I fell asleep on the sofa last night and stayed there until this morning, best nights sleep I’ve had in ages 😊

@WillBlackWriter The Tories have been chipping away at the NHS for years. Their plan is to make it unworkable, to allow its disintegration until people are desperate and then they will come to the rescue with a plan to privatise profitable sections and compel citizens to take out health insurance. Within a short time people will be persuaded that a ‘Free at the point of use’ NHS is unaffordable, inadequate and undesirable. We MUST protect our NHS #NHSjustice

Was explaining NHS privatisation to my Dad today, and he couldn’t understand why that would be in the interest of the public. I told him it wasn’t, it was in the interests of those who have shares and jobs in private medicine and pharmaceutical companies. I think I’ve destroyed his belief in the UK being a fair and just country where good will always prevail… but he told me Father Christmas wasn’t real about 23 yrs ago so it’s good to get my own back.
