A ★★★★ review of My Name Is Pecos (1966)

Robert Woods with the most swingin' 60's wide pants, brown face and taped back eyes (no idea why) makes a really good spaghetti western hero. He is so dirty and stares at everybody as if he is deciding to shoot them right now or later. Coming from a walk through a desert he clenches his thirst by drinking Tequila straight out of the bottle. There is nothing really visually cool with him which, somehow, makes him so much cooler. But, as usual, a Richard Widmark-grinning George Eastman steals the show. It's really hard for anybody to compete with that man
