hi! my name is annabel, my pronouns are she/they. i'm here from tumblr, where my username is tanyafreemont (or perhaps lesbiansamtyler depending on where you know me from). you might know me for my skullify browser extension, which covers tumblr in skulls (skullify for wafrn when…?).

i thought i'd join wafrn because even though i've been on tumblr long enough to see it live through many "death knolls", it's nice to have a change of pace on another platform and wafrn seems really cool. i was on cohost before it shut down (rip my beautiful girl) and it inspired me to explore more sites like this. i really love the indie web and i also really love tumblr so this is totally my kind of thing.

i'll summarise my interests:

cats (i have one called artie, i love him so much)
computers (favourites are panasonic cf-w4 & cf-62, also any thinkpad ever. i have a thinkpad e560 dualbooting windows 7 pro and linux mint xfce 21.4)
many many tv shows. my absolute favourites ever are life on mars/ashes to ashes and good omens, i'd say. i also love bbc ghosts (i've been to button house!), our flag means death (need to rewatch this so bad), don't hug me i'm scared (i went batshit mental when the c4 show came out), bbc merlin (every so often i just… remember that the finale was a real thing that aired on tv and not some fic i read), the great british sewing bee (i lock in so hard for this every year), and taskmaster (i <3 comedy). i've also watched supernatural. i'm watching interview with the vampire rn and LOVING it.
team starkid: i've loved this group since i was eleven years old and absolutely going through it. i've been really lucky to see them live - i saw darren/joey/lauren at the london palladium on 15.10.2023, starkid innit on 12.05.2024, i can't believe it's been a little less than a year on 27.04.2025, and i'll be seeing the guy who didn't like musicals on the west end on 26.05.2026
shoot from the hip: i found out about them in december 2024, but i got heavily into them in december 2025 because i booked to go and see them live on a whim and it altered me fundamentally (in the interval i was sitting in my seat borderline shaking messaging every single person i knew that i could feel myself becoming more and more abnormal and that they needed to get into this asap). as i live not too far from london (£10 return on the train with my railcard), i've seen them quite a lot of times in quite a short span of time - 06.12.2025, 22.02.2026, 14.03.2026, and i'm sure there are more to come (i'm looking to book 16.05.2026, and i'm going to 04.10.2026).
live theatre and comedy in general! i go to quite a lot of shows and i love the whole experience - not just the show itself, but getting to meet so many people has been quite life-changing for me.
chappell roan: i LOVE chappell roan! i was a couple of months late to the party but when i did listen to her it really altered me greatly. my second listen of good luck babe made me break down in tears, not because of the lyrics or anything but just because i guess i couldn't process how a song can be so GOOD. i can hardly watch a video of her performing without crying, it's actually insane, i can't get over what an insanely good performer she is. i saw her at reading festival on 22.08.2025 and i'm not even joking when i said i hardly made it out of the arena.
my chemical romance: AGHH i love mcr so much. comparatively to a lot of fans i had my mcr awakening quite late i think but i did walk into that summer blonde and leave it with purple hair. i'm seeing them at wembley on 11.07.2026 and i am so fucking scared
dan and phil: i was a phan by proxy for YEARS but then after the hard launch i bit the bullet and finally joined the ranks. & now i have their calendar on my wall <3
