Gawwwd, what I wouldn't give for another musician with a better ear / transcription skills than me to bounce things off. I do "okay" but I've got a 6/8 song with random measures of 3/8 and 4/8 and I think it switches to 4/4 for the chorus… sigh. This is what comes of being a lyrics-first writer.
