I watch the Apollo 11 documentary recently. It’s the one that uses primarily footage shot around the time of the first moon landing and walk in 1969.

I’m so used to the depiction of that time period being all white people, but looking at B-roll of crowds of folks in Florida who came to watch this giant rocket start its journey to the moon, it was surprising to see the diversity of faces (yes, still mostly white), but compared to TV I watched in the 80s, it was practically inclusive!
