I have the symptoms of Gilles de Tourettes, which means bouts of quite severe tics. This started when I was 45 and I am now 65. It has never stopped feeling strange and simultaneously quite interesting.

I was at #MootGlobal25 in Edinborough last week for three days. I only went to two of the many sessions, partly because I am likely to start to tic which I find distracting and annoying. Instead I spent my time on the #CatalystEU stand chatting to all and sundry which was absolutely delightful.

In my part of the #MootGlobal25 keynote address I mentioned several times that LLM technology is not intelligent in any meaningful way, and once in passing that the energy requirements may “burn the planet down”.

They are the things I have had the most positive feedback on.
