In der Nacht von heute auf morgen (12. Juni 2025) erreicht der Mond um ca. 01:45 Uhr MESZ über Freising seinen Kulminationspunkt – mit nur 12,4° Höhe.
Noch tiefer als am 11. Juni (13,1°) – aber:
👉 Der tiefste Vollmond war der gestrige – im gesamten 18,6‑Jahres‑Zyklus!

Sorry for my absence, stuff happens and sometimes the pit I find myself tumbled into takes a while to clamber out.
Here, at the closing of a particularly bad week, I find myself cheered by a Beaver Moon, which is somewhat obscure, but, magically, found itself of a way to peek out through a roughly triangular gap in the otherwise cloudy sky.
There are a few quirky angles of hard landscape, too, as usual for me.
