LisaSo you've tried taking your bike on a train, but have you tried taking your train on a bike?
Picture from Thornes Park Miniature Railway, Wakefield UK, where one of their members brought their miniature loco to a running day in an unexpected way.
The 'Blowfly' steam loco I was building a few years ago, and sold as a working chassis, has just sold again; now with boiler parts.
I hope someone gets her running some day.
Just got back from the dawn ride:
1. I got rained on, which was actually quite nice once I stopped and took my glasses off.
2. I found a house with a front yard full of stacks of miniature railway tracks.
#BikeTooter & #Rain & #ModelEngineering makes for a nice start to the day (but it's summer, so I'm about to go to bed).
Just remembered the time a #ModelEngineering magazine misspelt 'brazed' and the next issue had a bunch of letters to the editor either offering or requesting "braised boiler fitting and vegetables" recipes.
