#MiTV4s calibration (part 2)

Color calibration gives us two options: Saturation and Tint. If you have a blue filter (that only lets blue through), you could use flashing color bars [1] to configure these.

Unfortunately, I neither have glasses for blue filtering, nor does the TV has an option to filter out reds and greens, so it's hard to configure those settings.

My eyes tell me the colours are oversatured, but I can't really trust them.

#MiTV4s calibration:

Contrast is too high, brightness too low, meaning that gray levels are clamped to much between. It's reasonably OK to fix that with basic adjustment videos (Brightness 57,
Contrast 48).

Warm color temperatur setting drifts off into greens, causing greens to be more saturated than reds and blues, which means there are significantly less levels of green (~10%) than of other colors.

Hmm, so turning _on_ adaptive luma seems to make it more natural. Weird #MiTV4s
I was super surprised how light this TV is. But like my only comparisons are a 55" Sony XF, and a 37" plasma. The plasma is multiple times as heavy, or at least that's what it feels like. #MiTV4s

Software is super snappy compared to the Sony XF series. Like wow, that's a great Android TV experience. #MiTV4s

HDR content did not play on first boot, but worked fine after a reboot. Meh.

Not convinced by picture quality. There are not that many settings but it feels somewhat over saturated, problematic on contrast and missing some sharpness. #MiTV4s
