It's always good to see new bird species but I find that sometimes I immediately really like the species involved. This is true of the Brown Parrot (or Meyer's Parrot) (Poicephalus meyeri).

With these, I think it was the size, colouring and the way they behaved. I 'preferred' them over the Grey Parrot we saw.
