@AnneTheWriter1 @shoko I heard that #JohnmásToDon is the diluted version of beauty in his family, the one who can go around with his face and head out in the open, uncovered, without fear of his handsomeness killing people (like a reverse #Medusan, #species802 )
While his cousin #DonTomás has to cover his handsome head in a #TopHat and his eyes with at least a #monocle in order not to kill everyone around him.
Thinking about the episode of #StarTrek #TOS with the #Medusan, an #alien so #eldrich that simply looking at it is enough to make #Spock go insane. I see that Zero from #Prodigy is also the same species.
I really like how the Medusans are portrayed, not as monsters, but as friendly entities with a tragic barrier to communication. I think that's the more interesting way to portray the inspiration-source, #Medusa of #GreekMythology, not as evil, but as tragic.
