In an age where even a cat sneezing can be broadcast online or via satellite/terrestrial networks, ask why NO government has had the integrity to restrict ALL lobbying of Government ministers (or their civil servants etc.) to being public.

If they can hold televised inquiries, they can hold televised lobbying sessions ensuring only interactions within law and ethical codes take place.

It would go against competitivity? No, not really. Competition would just be more honest and understood. Only underhand backdoor tactics would be thwarted.

It would go against national security? Again, no. It would boost it by ensuring honest discourse and transparency, and if disclosure provably threatens lives, rare exception could be made.

So ... why is this obvious solution never proposed or implemented?
Because the systems were captured BEFORE the technologies existed.

We don't need an A.I. rollout. We need a rollout of this kind of ethical government transparency, across the globe.

Zoe Daniel is spot on here. Our mainstream media are so captured by the lazy (cheap, profitable) team-sport narrative of two party politics that they can’t see anything else.

Imagine if our focus all along had been policy. And how policies affect the lives of people.
