Our school participates in the voting for the Maud Hart Lovelace award so we had some bookmarks with her face and Betsy Tacy illustrations. A 2nd grader came up to the desk, grabbed a bookmark with Maud’s portrait, and asked, “Who murdered this lady?” Could not be convinced of any other scenario. The school district recently received this request. Ours have always been available, until last week when a software update messed up all our links.
