On March 31st, Rafael Vaño, from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), represented O-CEI Horizon at the 2nd International Workshop on MetaOS for the Cloud-Edge-IoT Continuum (#MECC 2025), co-hosted at ACM EuroSys 2025 in Rotterdam.
During the Meta-OS Projects Showcase of Use Cases and Demonstrators, Rafael introduced O-CEI as pioneering research initiative aimed at leveraging Cloud-Edge-IoT (CEI) technologies to drive energy flexibility and enable cutting-edge applications in orchestration, virtualization, networking, and AI. His presentation, "Federation of Domains in the Distributed Environment of the Cloud-Edge-IoT Continuum", explored how federated domains can optimize AI workloads and enhance CEI ecosystems.
