Two men who travelled 200 miles to deal drugs in Swansea have been jailed
30-year-old Alex Amanuel, from Nottingham, and 26-year-old Hakim Collace, from Loughborough, were reported to police after being seen dealing drugs on Matthew Street, Swansea.
A vehicle used by the pair was shown to have travelled to Swansea from the Nottingham area.
For being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin, Alex Amanuel has been sentenced to three years and eight months in prison, while Hakim Collace has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Detective Sergeant Luke Tucker from South Wales Police said: “With this sentence, two individuals involved in an illegal drug trade which brings misery to countless people in their community will be behind bars for a number of years.
“Those who are involved in supplying illegal substances care nothing for the wellbeing of those they sell to. They only care about their own profit.
“Drug dealing does not pay. You will be identified, and you will be brought to justice.”
