Here's one more glamour shot of that box top in good light.
Last week I showed you the gift box. Inside was a wireless phone charging stand, also 3D printed. I had fun with this and probably went overboard. But CAD modeling is fun.
The charging stand is made from MatterHackers Silver Purple Quantum PLA. The box is Yellow Blue Quantum PLA. The box insert is natural PLA.
The green sides are nicely striated too. (Not so much on the blue sides.)
This came out way better than expected. I 3D printed a gift box for the upcoming holiday.
It's black PLA and MatterHackers blue-yellow Quantum PLA. The bow is more iridescent than the photos show.
No MMU. I printed 1mm in black, then switched filaments and printed the rest.
Messy lab bench. For obvious reasons the box can't leave the lab just yet. The contents are 3D printed too; I'll post those photos after Xmas.
