Jupiter Rowland@Marc "A Very Spooky" Godin Yes. Ask the admin(s) of kolektiva.social to either revert to Mastodon 4.4.x or fork their Mastodon 4.5 and patch parts of Mastodon 4.4. back in.
This behaviour, along with no more mouse-over support, is hard-coded into Mastodon 4.5 and newer.

AdrianoThe Mastodon 4.5 web interface has apparently removed the "title" attribute of images. So while images do correctly feature an alt attribute with the alt text, at least Firefox will not show it, because "alt" is the attribute you show when the image file cannot be displayed, while "title" is the text displayed on top of an image (or link, or other elements?) when you hover the mouse pointer over it.

Niwt zo vreemd dat ik niets wist over de nieuwe ontwikkelingen rond het citeren in Mastodon.
Een snelle zoekopdracht gaf gelijk wat antwoord.
Mastodon.nl is nog versie 4.4.4, dus nog even wachten.
Op Mastodon.social draait een bètaversie nu 4.5.0, en werkt t al.
