Andrew WilliamsHrm, having a weird #MastoUpgrade issue with v4.3.3, my sidekiq pods are taking forever to startup, and the one I have specifically set aside for the scheduler queue just doesn't do anything.
Sander@paul that is not a bad idea. Something like this would fit me personally:
#Masto<instance-specific> --> for communication admin with its users
#MastoAdmin --> for general admin questions
#MastoUpgrade --> for issues during upgrades
Paul Chambers🚧@spiezmaestro I wished #MastoAdmin would use something else like #MastoUpgrade. If someone runs into a problem, it would be swipe or scroll after swipe or scroll for them to get any attention or help. God forbid it was like a few updates ago when the upgrade caused a breakage for some setups and it went unnoticed for a while due to the upgrade spam and admins kept upgrading

When I was done, they asked me how I did it so quickly. Here is a #HowTo:
– back up DB
– check out v4.1.15
– follow these upgrade notes: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/releases/tag/v4.1.0 (!)
– test
– back up DB
– check out v4.2.8 (latest)
– follow these upgrade notes: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/releases/tag/v4.2.0 (!)
– test
→ Follow upgrade notes for each version x.y.0, or you will miss migrations!
