The UI is not the experience. It is the visible layer of a much deeper interaction. A button can be perfectly aligned, a color palette harmonious, and the micro-interactions delightful—yet the experience can still fail if the flow doesn’t match how people think, decide, or act.

The number of "clicks" is irrelevant. Design for the sequence of thought, not the sequence of screens.

This discipline keeps the team aligned and prevents design-by-default—where features accumulate without purpose. It also makes critiques easier: if a design doesn’t serve the outcome, it’s not a good design.

This is not about turning everyone into a designer. It’s about giving them the language to ask the right questions at the right time:

- Concept stage: Who is this for? What problem are we solving?
- Wireframe stage: Does this flow match how people think?
- Development stage: Is this fast enough? Is it accessible?
- Launch stage: How will we know if it’s working?

When the team shares ownership, critiques become constructive, not combative.

If any other people who use #Masto have suggestions as to which domains I should block from federating, please let me know, I really don't want some like nazi shit showing up on my server, I ain't about that shit, also any Anti-LGBT shit, I don't deal with that here, want to spout that, spout it somewhere else where people see your views and actually care, I ain't about that life, #LGBt most definitely welcome on my server, also any systems of any kind, or anyone else really.
