Question: This is the first time I posted a pic here in a toot. When I loaded it, it offered me the chance to caption it, which I did. But now I don’t see the caption I put on it…is there a special way to activate a caption or did I accidentally delete … or what??? Thanks

Attached: 1 image @[email protected] This reminds me of our Sparkie, whom we lost last spring at the age of 18. We weren’t in the cat market either but our daughter’s boyfriend found a weeks old kitten near his mailbox. She was so small, weak & hungry we didn’t have problems getting close to her. I remember cuddling her against my shoulder that first time while my daughter went to get a bottle & cat formula & she just relaxed. Our daughter went to college where she couldn’t have a pet— the rest is history.

#MastadonQuestions so, I understand (and really like) the content warning feature, but I think I keep seeing a different one? Some Toots have a 'show more' button which seems to function in a similar way? Am I missing a trick? 😁

I love how inclusive this place is... I love that alt text is the norm. Still getting used to remembering to do it. Can alt text be added after a post is tooted?
