Reuters phrases it this way:

Britain has dropped its demand for the iPhone maker Apple to provide a “backdoor” that would have enabled access to the protected encrypted data of American citizens

…which does not say anything about not-backdooring British citizens.

We should watch carefully whether Apple resurrects ADP in the UK.

La pasada noche patrullas de reconocimiento rusas se adentraron en la frontera con Kharkov, mientras su aviación y artillería bombardeaba sistemáticamente las posiciones ucranianas, y esta mañana lo sigue haciendo.
Según la inteligencia ucraniana al otro lado de la frontera hay 50.000 soldados rusos, según la "nuestra" son más.
Todos sabemos que el ruso quiere crear una zona de amortiguamiento, pero también que podría conseguirla tras una negociación desde una posición de fuerza. No hace falta sacrificar blindados y rusos a no ser que el coste material y humano del ucraniano sea mucho mayor.
No sabemos si es una #maskirovka o va en serio, y lo peor es que el ucraniano tampoco.
#Rusia tiene un plan con #Ucrania que solo ella conoce. El de la #OTAN todos lo conocemos, ella misma lo ha hecho público, desgastar y desmembrar Rusia.

El general Sergei Surovikin ha sido llamado a Moscú. Surovikin fue el artífice del avance ruso desde Crimea, sorprendentemente exitoso y con un mínimo de bajas, también quien diseñó el sistema de defensa estable y móvil que anuló la contraofensiva ucraniana y desgastó a su ejército; y, por último, también quien organizó la retirada de Kherson a través del Dniéper, tanto de civiles como militares, ocasionando un ingente número de bajas ucranianas sin apenas propias.
Con este currículo, el ucraniano teme que sea quien dirija la posible ofensiva rusa sobre #Kharkov. Eso o el ruso está montando una #maskirovka de proporciones épicas.
