Excluding coinfection with multiple immune evasive variants as a confounder, that's about 0.05-0.1% of the population predicted to be maimed with long term #sequelae, depending on which model you look at.
Conservative opinions place LC prevalence at 5-8% (Ashish Jha's comments) while others have cited up to 20% (CDC).
