AGI - Jannik Sinner è in semifinale agli Internazionali di Roma: l'azzurro si è imposto sul russo Andrej Rublev in due set, 6-2, 6-4, in un'ora e 31 minuti. In semifinale Sinner affronterà il vincente dell'altro quarto tra il russo Medvedev e lo spagnolo Martin Landaduce.
Sinner: "Non ero al 100%, partita difficile"
"È stata una partita molto difficile e sono molto contento di essere in semifinale. Siamo due italiani in semifinale ed è speciale. Non ho giocato al 100% perché non era semplice a causa del vento". Queste le parole, nell'intervista in campo, di Jannik Sinner dopo il successo su Andrey Rublev nei quarti di finale degli Internazionali d'Italia 2026. "Sto sentendo un po' di fatica perché ho giocato tante partite ultimamente, ho giocato quattro partite molto diverse qui. Oggi Rublev non ha servito benissimo e mi ha lasciato un po' più libero in risposta", conclude Sinner.

“It was a very difficult match and I am very happy to be in the semifinals. We have two Italians in the semifinals and it’s special. I didn't play at 100% because it wasn't easy due to the wind.” These were the words, in the interview on court, of Jannik Sinner after his success over Andrey Rublev in the quarterfinals of the Internazionali d’Italia 2026. “I’m feeling a little fatigue because I’ve played many matches lately, I’ve played four very different matches here. Today, Rublev didn’t serve very well and he left me a little more free in response,” concludes Sinner.
