OK so technically I found Jake but he’s unconscious and then I wound up in the hospital. Let’s try to do more of a rescue this time. Continuing The Tower~ https://www.twitch.tv/robotspacer #Twitch #MARCHintosh

Got a couple of #MARCHintosh Prints here! Feel free to send more to my trusty ol’ AppleTalk Lexmark on the HuskyNet Global zone!

Tagging: @smallsco @theirongiant thanks!

My 12" Powerbook G4. The first Mac I purchased with my own money, and I used it to death. Now resurrected with a new SSD, the battery is toast, the backlight is dodgy, but nostalgia keeps me loving this system. #marchintosh

Thinking about the Apple Shaver irrationally often

On Saturday's noon EDT stream, we'll continue #Marchintosh work. First up, we'll see if a trashed Mac Hard Disk 20 (drive for the Mac 512k) will power up and its Rodime drive will spin up. Then we'll see if a Mac LC575 needs on-board RAM (with help from The Abomination). https://youtube.com/live/fI1rMFNpnps?feature=share
To answer my own question - I fount this, including some build scripts: https://github.com/minivmac/minivmac

In the end my own scripts are also working again. Most likely, not running "make clean" between compilation steps was the issue. I was already blaming Wayland, but not this time πŸ˜‰

Soon my #marchintosh project will be done!

What's the best laptop Apple ever made? For me, the 11" Air. Let me know, then also hear what @ActionRetro, @thisdoesnotcomp, @mrmacintosh, Computer Clan, @mac84tv, and @branchus had to say this #MARCHintosh! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpPIrmZB828

Anyone having successfully compiled and run #minivmac (v.0.37) on a current 64bit Raspberry Pi OS?

I'm having trouble on a Pi Zero2. Minivmac compiles and boots but shows an Error Mac symbol that seems to point to RAM issues (in the emulator)

Any hints for me? Boosts welcome!

I promise I will post full details on TinkerDifferent soon (hopefully before #MARCHintosh ends), but I have been working on something really cool.

Its a Docker based cross-compiler for Mac OS X and iPhone apps. So far I have been able to compile a single binary with 4 slices that will run on:

・Tiger+ (PPC, X86)
・Leopard+ (PPC, X86, X64)
・Big Sur+ (X64, ARM64).

Its just a simple AppKit app that draws a red window. But it all works! I'm super excited with how much easier it will be to build #retrotech Mac and iPhone software with this Docker container!

Sorry, I know the screenshots have a lot going on, but I tried to highlight the important parts.
