Progress on some knit socks I started who knows when!
I'm going through my wip bin, and attempting to get down to only 5 projects left by the end of the year - most my wips are socks, so idk if I'll manage, but I'm attempting.
Today's progress is the entire leg portion (that bottom stitch marker is where I started).
Tomorrow I'll do 10 more rows, then the heel, gusset, then the foot - IF I pull all that off tomorrow, I'll be able to attempt the entire second sock this weekend 🫠 wish me luck haha

I'm quite pleased with these plates. Because I make them from a prepared slab of clay that is then shaped on the wheel & the rim turned up, they do not require the addition of water with the resultant problems with uneven drying that can cause cracking.

I also don't make a foot ring because I prefer the simple & grounded look of these.

I've had a lot better outcomes (no cracking or warping) using this method than with throwing/trimming plates.

Finally removed the dead upright freezer from my shop today and replaced it with shelves. Sucked up a HUGE lot of the clutter that's been logjamming the shop, and opens room to complete other projects, like putting another hardware cabinet on the rear wall, and installing a lumber rack to the front wall, which will suck up some of the stuff stored vertically to the left of the shelves. I haven't seen so much uncovered floor space in years, and I'm just getting started with the reorganization.
