Dear Tony Lupton and Michael Danby. I see that you'd like Josh Burns anfrom the #ALP to win #Macnamara.
OK. (I'd prefer the #Greens to win it, but ... whatevs).
I see you're really worried that the preferences might edge Josh out, and that you want people to vote "1. ALP ..." rather than "1. Green, 2.ALP"

I see your problem. But really, sidling up to Advance ain't the way to go. I'll give you a hint: how has sidling up to NewsCorp gone? It isn't good, is it? They have no friends for a reason. You are not their friend. They are not yours.

Here is my
Home Remedy for the
Prevention of Greens Votes:
1. Act on #climate.
2. Help #refugees and the poor.
3. Do something to protect #nature.

You don't need to go full on dictatorship-of-the-proletariat. Do those three (actually, for many Greens voters, just the top one would do) and Josh keeps his seat. No wukkas.

So simple. Not a biggie, not difficult, definitely not 3D Chess. Put the sock puppets away you bloody gooses.

ALP dirty tricks in Macnamara prove their polling says the Greens can win.

Josh Burns needs to be asked about his involvement in this.

Getting Danby to do anything is a miracle, he did nothing for decades as an MP, the member for Israel never served his electorate.

Macnamara Candidate Forum on Climate and Energy

PECAN and GECAN, two Climate and Energy community networks within the Macnamara electorate, have once again organised a Federal election forum on Climate and Energy. It features candidates from two major political parties, Josh Burns, ALP, and Sonya Semmens, The Greens. The Liberal candidate declined our invitation to participate.

The event will be moderated by Jo Chandler journalist and senior lecturer from the Centre for Advancing Journalism, The University of Melbourne. We will commence proceedings with a guest speaker Dr Kimberley Reid, Climate Scientist, The University of Melbourne. She will be followed by introductory comments from the candidates. The floor will then be opened for questions from you, the audience.

7 – 9pm Tue, 1 Apr, St Kilda Town Hall

A health secretary who lied even more than Boris Johnson. Journeymen and women more interested in fighting their own macho turf wars." John Crace
