#ScheduleF was an attempt to create a new federal employment category that would let #WhiteHouse reclassify 1000s of career #civilservants in “policy-related” roles and strip them of key job protections.
Once reclassified, employees subject to the new rule would become much easier to remove, making their continued employment far more contingent on political leadership than on merit-based civil service protections.
