It's certainly true that the initial #Covid19 vaccine roll-out was phenomenally successful.

But I find it troubling that the government has largely given up on covid vaccines in more recent years.

The vaccines have undoubtedly saved lives, but they don't have a brilliant duration of immunity. Regular boosters are essential to maintain protection.

And regular boosters are no longer available on the NHS for the vast majority of us.

Covid-19 Inquiry: UK's vaccine development and rollout was 'extraordinary feat' - live updates

An estimated 475,000 lives were saved in England and Scotland, but the inquiry says a lower vaccine uptake among some groups should've been predicted.

Any #LongCOVID survivors open to sharing their experience? I’m struggling to make sense of what’s happening to my nervous system. I recently spoke with a friend about it, but I’m looking for something in writing to help me process it. My emotions are on a constant loop—anxiety, sadness, laughter, and crying all within minutes. I feel very overwhelmed and could really use some support or resources. Thank you.

The UK Covid Inquiry has laid bare the avoidable horror of the second Covid wave

It is becoming ever clearer both how devastating the second wave of winter 2020/21 was, and how much of that devastation could have been avoided.
