Characterization of translation invariant MMD on Rd and connections with Wasserstein distances

@kevinjelliott Does your or @jacksantucci's thesis suggest that adopting #RCV before #fusionism or #MMDs would harm progress toward other reforms? I'd think that freeing people to vote for their favorite without worrying about electability can only help build a constituency for further reform. (I suppose, from your perspective, #RCV alone asks busy people to invest more time in researching candidates, but to me that's a plus. W/o RCV it's too easy to decide and I don't need to pay attention.)

I keep forgetting to use hashtags! Anyway, I already did my #introduction, but I didn't really talk about my current work with #FairVote, which is advocating for #RankedChoiceVoting at the federal level.

I also champion the Fair Representation Act (#FairRepAct), which would institute #RCV within multimember districts (#MMDs) for Congressional #elections.

Happy to discuss and share resources to anyone interested!
