I picked up two #StreetPass visits this past weekend at the MIT Flea. One a repeat from a previous Flea, and one new. Lots of new puzzle pieces!
I had a StreetPass sign up at my tables, and a lot of people stopped to comment on it. Chatted about favorite games, what got us into video gaming ... really nice people. Most didn't have a *DS on them, but said they'd bring it along in the spring.
In reality, I never played Out Run as a kid. But I did play a *LOT* of Rad Racer on my relatives' NES, and I loved the game. I picked this up yesterday at the MIT Flea/Swapfest yesterday, after I packed up my tables and did a quick run over to visit some other vendors I'm acquainted with.
The sticker on this one reads $12, but the vendor told me to give him $10 so he didn't need to make change. Happy to do so.
Found this PII Dell tower for $40 at the MIT Flea today. Also got a power cable, mouse, and keyboard for it while I was there. 450mhz and 256mb RAM. Hoping I can use this to make a decent late '90s gaming PC. I think the seller said it has some sort of ATI Rage graphics card but I might need to get a better one.
I don't have space for a CRT right now. I'm going to try to hook it to my monitor with a VGA to HDMI adapter.

Good morning from the MIT Flea!
I've already sold both of my Power Macintoshes. So much floor space recovered!
Great stuff here today. A table at the entrance has at least half a dozen Trash Can Macs!

Just a reminder: stop by and say hi at the MIT Flea / Swapfest tomorrow morning in Cambridge, Massachusetts! I'm happy to chat, you can poke at old and underpriced computers, and I might even convince you to take some free stuff!
1st Addendum (I'm sure there will be more):
I'll have a few Skylanders Starter Packs for the Xbox 360. $5 will get you the disc in case, a portal, and two Skylanders. Did you recently pick up a cheap 360 to jailbreak it? Why not pick up a complete game with cool figurines?
The last MIT Flea / Swapfest of the year is this coming Sunday, October 19th. I will be selling! I want stuff out of my home! All unreasonable offers will be entertained and/or entertaining!
Among other things I will have are:
- a Power Macintosh 7200/90 with a 300 MHz G3 upgrade card
- a 400 MHz G4 Graphite desktop, in its original box
- a Miyoo PocketGo, the predecessor to the Miyoo Mini (i.e., a #GameDad)

This year, I went from having zero #PowerPC computers to four (this is objectively too many Macintoshes; would you like one?).
Three of them internal Zip drives. I hadn't owned a Zip disk in decades. Do those drives work? Who knows?
To answer the question, this month I purchased a 100 Mbyte Zip disk at the #MITFlea for $1. Today, while trying to get work done, I'll be shuffling the systems around the office to test the drives, and the disk. What are my likely outcomes?
