La grosse bonne nouvelle (qui est sortie après la vidéo), c'est le projet de la ZB MED de développer un PubMed européen ! C'est le projet OLSPub, détaillé ici (page en allemand et en anglais) : https://www.zbmed.de/forschen/laufende-projekte/olspub. La page est régulièrement mise à jour, et la ZB MED a lancé un appel à soutiens.
Note sur les risques encourus par PubMed/Medline sous l'administration Trump
Dès les premières semaines de sa présidence, l’administration Trump s’est démarquée par tout un ensemble de mesures allant contre la liberté d’expression et de publication dans les universités et la recherche, notamment dans le domaine de la santé. Cette courte note vise à faire le point (à date du 18 février 2025 – mise à jour au 21 mai 2025 avec ajout sur le projet de la ZB MED) sur le sujet, et sur ses conséquences potentielles pour les bibliothèques de santé et leurs services. Un focus particulier est fait sur les bases de données en santé maintenues par la National Library of Medicine : PubMed/Medline et ClinicalTrials.gov.
Jonathan Kamens 86 47I don't want to be too overly dramatic about this, but if you open a new box of tissues, like, for example, the ones they give to patients in the hospital, and it's impossible to pull the first tissue out of the box without a big wad of tissues coming out with it, that's not an accident and it's not poor design, it's theft. The manufacturer has designed their packaging to encourage this wastage so they can sell more tissues.
