Maryland Delegate Brian Crosby (D) files HB-165 for permanent Daylight Saving Time. Bill is referred to Health & Government Operations Committee, chaired by Delegate Joseline Peña-Melnyk (D) and Delegate Ariana Kelly (D). Please oppose, amend to permanent Standard Time!

HB-165’s permanent DST would delay Maryland sunrise past 8am for over 3 months. It cost lives in 1974. Maryland Association of Boards of Education, Maryland Sleep Society, Agudath Israel of Maryland, American Medical Association, National Safety Council, and dozens more oppose pDST and endorse permanent Standard Time instead.
