If you were convicted for storming the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, a bill says you should not be able to serve on a Maryland state panel or garner “a special appointment” by the governor for certain positions.
Prince George’s County has seen two redistricting disputes in the past decade.
Residents and voting‑rights advocates have proposed a charter amendment to strengthen the County’s redistricting rules before the next cycle begins.
