I was listing the influences on my art today & one of them is Roberto Matta. One of the og Surrealists who called himself a “liquid space architect” which I stole to describe my music. But my art is definitely heavily inspired by him. The first work of his I saw at the MFA in Boston blew me away. The atmosphere, the structures, the shapes are like nothing I’ve seen before. Or since really.
