The last place one would expect to find a recreation of the 2nd #balloon flight of the #Manhigh project is in a series about two researchers of human sexuality.
And yet that happened on the 12th episode of the 1st season of Masters of Sex.
As a matter of fact, the events portrayed in the episode around a presentation of Dr. Masters at Washington Univ. was held on August 19, 1957 the same day on which Major #Simons began his flight from the bottom of an iron mine pit near #Crosby, Minnesota.
