Despite losing the general argument on the claimed employment costs of a minimum wage, businesses have continued to strongly assert that it is constraining their ability (willingness) to employ people in entry level positions...
However, research by the Low Pay Commission suggests the latest above inflation rise in the UK's minimum wage had little impact on either wage inflation (often predicted) or levels of employment.
