The weather is supposed to get a bit cold and rainy for a few days so I've just made an unscheduled trip to my local library. Seven books should keep me off the streets for a day or two. Love my local library. Oh, the librarian won the sock contest today. I only had blue socks but she had slime green.

Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, and the aforementioned, Mulholland Drive, are all among my faves. Also a soft spot for his mess Dune. Oddly, given I'm a fan of his, I've never seen any of Twin Peaks (something I will remedy at some point), due mostly to not having access to it when it first came out.
I've not seen either, Lost Highway, nor, Inland Empire, but have both on hold at my public library...

It was. Some of the stuff that happens in this town is quite a surprise. I think it punches a bit above its weight due to the annual festival.
Also, it was a free event put on by the public library.
